Stafford Boat Club is situated on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal and nestles in the picturesque Penk Valley, approx. 3 miles from Stafford town center. The area is close to many tourist attractions, so there is plenty to explore. Check out the visitstafford.org website for a full list of what to see and do.

The event is for 4 full days, opening at 13.00 on Thursday 14th May and closing at 12.00 noon on Monday 18th May. You are welcome to attend for all or any of these days.

Camping is all on grass with electricity. Toilet facilities are available at the club when open and a small boaters’ bathroom facility is available near the slipway. Boating is available on the canal (insurance and license required – see Canal & Trust Website). Launching of canoes/kayaks and sups is possible from the club slipway (please contact Stafford Boat Club – www.staffordboatclub.co.uk for details).

The Boating Group will be holding a Hosts Forum (hosted by Beryl out Hosts Liaison Officer) on the Saturday morning and the Boating Group AGM will be on the Saturday afternoon (2.00pm). On Saturday evening will have a “Bring & Share” supper in the clubroom. There will be a full program of other social activities provided, including a walk to the Radford Bank Inn for lunch on Friday. A “Pirate” themed party on Friday evening. On Sunday evening we will have Skittles and Quiz.

The clubhouse bar will also be open during the evenings.
