SITE INFORMATION

The  location for the 2024 AGM weekend is in the Northamptonshire village of Stoke Bruerne.  The meet is for 5 full days, opening at 1.00pm on the first day and closing at 12.00 noon on the last day. You are welcome to attend for all or any of the days.

Home Farm Rally Field, a minimum facility site, within 5 minutes’ walk of this lovely canal side village.  Steeped in canal history and set alongside the Grand Union Canal this little village has no less than two waterside pubs, tea rooms, canal museum, 5 canal locks, boat trips,  a small country park and beautiful canal side walks.

About half a mile north of the village is the Blisworth tunnel – accessible by a walk along the old towpath.  The tunnel is 3,075 yards (2,812 m) long and is the longest wide, freely navigable tunnel in Europe and the longest canal tunnels in the country.

The Village is located about 5 miles south from the County market town of Northampton and about 7 miles North of Milton Keynes for those wishing to explore a little further afield.

The AGM will be held on Saturday afternoon in the village hall about a 20 – 25 minute walk through the village.  For those not wishing to walk this distance there will be a couple of cars to drive members there.  Parking is restricted. In the evening there will be a Bring and Share supper and social

Over the weekend we have planned lots of activities, including walks, pub lunch, boat trips, on site games and activities.  Fancy finding out and trying your hand at traditional canal art, then come and join in my art workshop.

There should be plenty to keep everyone busy during this 5 day event.  Dave and I are looking forward to welcoming you all.

Fees are £16 per night camping.  If you are just planning on coming to the AGM and not camping please park at the Rally Site and make your way to the Village Hall (As I mentioned parking is restricted there)

Beryl and Dave Ireland – Stewards for the weekend
